Cute hearts
These little hearts make for a great decoration for Christmas or a cute gesture for Valentine’s. Or, you know, for anything where you want to make someone special feel loved. They work up quickly, and there is no sewing. So it’s really the perfect idle project.
Materials
Any yarn will do. Use a hook to match, scissors and a yarn needle.
Instructions
First part
Round 1 6 sc into a magic circle (6)
Round 2 Inc around (12)
Rounds 3-5 Sc around (12)
Fasten off
Second part
Round 1 6 sc into a magic circle (6)
Round 2 Inc around (12)
Rounds 3-5 Sc around (12)
Now we will crochet the two parts together which brings the total stitch count to 24.
So you continue crocheting into round 5 of the first part like this:
Round 6 *2 sc, dec*, repeat *-* around (18)
Round 7 *1 sc, dec*, repeat *-* around (12)
Round 8 Sc around (12)
Round 9 Dec around (6)
Round 10 Dec around (3)
Fasten off.
