Mini mindflayer
One of my favourite hobbies (apart from crochet, obviously) is playing good old fashioned Dungeons & Dragons. I get to hang out with old colleagues and pretend to be a werewolf barbarian. What’s not to love, right? Inspired by all the awesome sessions, I decided to create my own version of a classic D&D monster; the mindflayer.

Materials
For yarn, I used Hobbii’s Honey Bunny yarn in black and lilac and a hook sized 5.0 mm. You will also need stuffing and safety eyes, and a tapestry needle for sewing.

Assembling the mindflayer
Pin the eyebrows onto the head. Adjust to make sure your mindflayer gets the perfect scowling expression. Pin the tentacles at the point where the eyebrows are lowest. Sew all three parts onto the head. Sew the arms into the body. Pin the narrowest part of the cape to the narrowest part of the mindflayer’s neck. Sew it on.
